ScaleAQ is a Norwegian group of companies engaged in providing a wide range of products and services within the aquaculture industry. Founded in 1980 and based in Trondheim, Norway, ScaleAQ incorporates three separate business entities. They are: Steinsvik Group AS (a supplier of products and solutions for aquaculture, maritime, and oil and gas industries), Aqualine AS (a fishing equipment supplier), and AquaOptima AS (producer of recirculation aquaculture systems (RAS) and various water treatment solutions).
Steinsvik Group, Aqualine, and AquaOptima have completed the merger to form ScaleAQ in 2019. Combined, these three companies have a local presence in 11 countries and employ more than 900 people, providing a broad portfolio of products to global customers, as well as consulting and engineering services.
